Sjelvar Records is a small company with its roots on the Baltic island of
Gotland. It was founded in 1985 by two musicians with the ambition to
promote non-commercial music, especially music from Gotland. The company is
now situated in Gothenburg. The aim is to maintain a high quality standard
by operating in a small scale with careful selection of productions and a
close control throughout the entire production process.
