Jan Ekedahl is one of the swedish pioneers of folk guitar. He´s an industrious and
prolific composer in various fields, not only for guitar but also for choir and
string ensemble. Being one of the founders of the Swedish folk group Gunnfjauns
Kapell in 1982 he boosted his composing of folk tunes. On this album,
Dubbelgångarn, he plays his own tunes solo. Three tunes are duets with Mats
Bergström. Six of the tunes are from the album Gitarrfamiljen (SJELP 1, 1985), the
rest are new tunes.

picking to polska. You need to look after your milestones, it´s a lesson we´ve
learnt in Gotland!"
