Born and raised in Ekeby, Gotland. Learned to play the fiddle from the old folk fiddlers like Arne Ekedahl. He´s played a lot of different folk music, irish and others. Moved to the west coast of Sweden in 1979. Teaches fiddle and guitar in the music school of Orust.
